Heard a story about a guy who laid down I believe a $100 that the Pats would go 19-0 in the 07 season, some crazy prop bet in Vegas. He stood to win 6 mill and when the Pats went 18-0 The casino in Vegas called him up and offered to buy him out of the bet for $2 mill with as you remember the Pats being a 14 pt Fav. Supposedly the guy refused and don't know if he is still alive and didn't off himself. That play would spin him out of control, worse than a lunch

Wow, if that is true........................ :L

Thats tough to live with, I hope he hedge his bet with a huge wager on the Giants on the Moneyline, which would have been a nice payout

The season Seattle played Pittsburgh in the SB, I was in a fairly large SB box that would have paid me $45,000 cash

My numbers were 1-3.....Seattle was down 21-10 on the final drive when Jeremy Stevens couldnt get out of bounds on a quick 3rd down pass.....They were trying to rush the FG team out there, which would have made the final 21-13....They called them back, not enough time.....Hasselback tossed an incomplete on 4th down......That stuck with me for months and months, and I never got in a big SB box again, the suffering of coming that close was so painful

Funny you say that I would have hedged my bet on the ML borrowed say 800k and either way walked away with like 5mill

"The integrity of the game is very important to me." - Tom Brady :pound:

That's exactly what he told Michael Jordan on the golf course and basketball court. Jordan wanted to pull a 'White men can't jump" con. Now we now white men esp Brady can't dance for shit

Yikes! Now this is what I call a mic drop.

Patriots fans and their denials, deflections, excuses. It's as old as Brady* and Belichick cheating or breaking rules to win Super Bowls.
I especially like the one about how with Vollmer back the offensive line was in good shape, and the offense was back to normal minus the injured running backs. That one was my favorite.

The only thing more fun than reading your whiny fucking comments about New England is watching Brady and his boys crush the Steelers again and again.

Nothing surprising in that. It's something or the other. Pathetic New England excuses.

Tom Brady has enjoyed the most stout, consistently great OL of this generation. 6' 8" bookends his entire career.

"But but but the OL!"

"Imagine how great he could have been with a decent line!"

Mark Sanchez or Sam Bradford could have won Super Bowls with Brady's Olines. Tim Tebow could have won SB MVPs with such O-line protection.

Yeah, imagine if those two 6-foot 8-inch bookends we're playing in that game?

Actually, I think one was playing he was just a half a cripple.

I thought LaFell was the deep threat that Brady* never had after Moss.

Oh dear lord!

Oh dear lord!

To have a deep threat don't you have to be a threat to go deep? When was the last time Brady consistently completed deep passes? Without Randy Moss the dude is dogshit.
