If things keep up they could have the #1 pick. Would be interesting outcome. They aren't going to draft Luck, so do they trade it? Or with the new rookie wage scale just take their #1 prospect...

They'd probably take Luck and trade Bradford.

I'm under the impression if they do finish last they should dismantle and rebuild. Trade the first for as much as possibl and trade SJax while he has value.
Doubt that scenario works out but stripping down might just be the best thing for em

They would be a nice spot honestly. They could silently listen to offers for Bradford while letting it be known they will take offers for the #1 pick and right to draft Luck. They could then choose between taking Luck themselves and getting whatever they can for Bradford or keeping Bradford and getting a nice sum of picks to build around him.

I would think they trade the pick though. I would imagine they get some really nice offers if Andrew Luck comes out this year.

The winning score in Suck for Luck could be 0-16

So a team bad enough to need a young QB would take one after 2 disappointing years and a huge contract rather than draft their own?

The media had him crowned a king after his first year. Raiders just gave up two first round picks for a worse player. He's had nobody to throw to this season. This will hardly shatter his value. Look at Bradford's deal AFTER this season.
Signed a six-year, $78 million contract. The deal contains $50 million guaranteed, including all six years' base salaries and a $2.88 million first-year roster bonus. Another $8 million is available through incentives based on playoff, Super Bowl, and Pro Bowl appearances. 2011: $405,000 (+ $17.974 million "signing" bonus), 2012: $1.205 million, 2013: $2.005 million, 2014: $2.805 million, 2015: $3.605 million, 2016: Free Agent

Basically a front loaded deal that is cake after this season. Makes a trade even better.

all i know is...if we can win only two more games this season, make it against the Rams. don't care about their injuries same as they don't care about ours. if there's two games i really want to win and win big, its against the Rams.

I don't think using their scenario is quite the same as they had a mid-season injury and they're crazy. That said, I agree the numbers after this year are more palatable.

He must have gotten the rest of his huge signing bonus in 2010. Man I'm gonna be pissed if they get first pick. They'll be set up very nicely.
