but I also agree it's bullshit. marchand couldn't break a bouncer's jaw without the help of a hammer and a ladder and chara swinging his arm.

Yes, that certainly predisposed him to my judgement in that picture. Hah. Very talented player, but I have fairly high standards when it comes to how athletes handle themselves I guess. Like it or not they're role models for a lot of kids. I know so many of them say it's not their responsibility, but you gotta contain yourself a bit in public situations. I normally give free passes after championships...but if that really happened...well, it's a wee (hehehe) bit over the top.

I disagree. People always say that but I did not like when Ribiero or Lapierre were on my team. Marchand is no better than either of them IMO. (not meaning talent wise)

I really hope this story isn't legit. BTW I bet I've disliked Marchand longer than any of you guys! I've disliked him ever since his junior days going back to 2005. Just saying....

I was cheering for Boston in the finals though so I temporarily became a fan I suppose. Not to mention the fact that we share the same city of birth (Halifax, NS).
