It's coming, in the new CBA. I prefer how we have both ways in the game but it doesn't matter what I prefer. One thing that is needed in this sport is more action if it's going to ever appeal to the young. So we'd better get used to it

That's assuming an agreement is in place and there isn't a strike/lockout to start the 2022 season.

I doubt I will walk away entirely, at least not right away. But the DH is not baseball. If you remove the “negatives”, then it just becomes an exhibition and there is no trade off. I have no desire to watch batting practice 162 times a year. That doesn’t interest me.

They don't really have a choice. It's changing because things change. Football and basketball are different than they used to be also.

This bothers me more than the DH. Actually, if I had to choose one of the following three, I'd choose DH:
1. Expanded playoffs
2. Runners on base in extra innings
3. Universal DH

To me, the DH is the least of the evils MLB is looking into doing.

I would actually put the runner on base in extras as the most palatable of the three. Expanded playoffs changes the emphasis from a marathon to a sprint. And while I appreciate the sprint aspect of the playoffs, I love the marathon side of the regular season. Adding more playoff teams makes the marathon almost meaningless (think college basketball regular season).
