He hasn't jumped of the screen like the other newbies have so I hope he's been showing up more in camp. I'd like to see him get some extended time with Brady next week or at least get a couple of bones thrown his way so we can see what he's got. He didn't look very good as a kick returner from what I saw.

I don't agree at all abou his kick returns. I thought he looked good but our special teams did not. I admit I did not see enough but I AM hoping to see more. Throw them bones!

I thought he looked tentative as a returner but Washington should fill that spot since Tebow has failed again anyway. I'm thinking they'll keep five RBs now.

He missed all of OTA's, so I am sure that he is 5th or 6th on the depth chart. He has been getting open, but poor passing by are backup QB have been an issue. He was out there with TB to start the game, which I thought was interesting, cause there was no Dobs.

I don't even remember seeing him but it was the Danny Amendola show....good reason to miss Boyce. I have it DVRd and will check it out at some point to see if he was getting open.

It was what ya thought. Run, Amendola, KT, little TE action in the EZ. He was out there, but like you said, did not do much. Who knows what Josh and BB are thinking.

He may end up as the David Patten "go deep" receiver with this team.

I assume this isn't just a matter of limited opportunities in games - that he still needs to prove it in practices to even get those opportunities in games. Right now he looks like the 5th WR on the roster, to me.

Nothing wrong with that and it doesn't mean he's going to be a bust or whatever, doesn't even mean he won't contribute at some point this year, but right now Amendola, Dobson, Thompkins and Edelman all look better prepared to play than him.

I didn't see, but more or less, the four guys making the team just at WR (and maybe Edelman) are all getting reps. Preseason is mostly evaluating what they can do and getting a bit of comfort down. From everything I have read Brady is already comfortable with Dobson to give him tough grabs and make him make plays, so maybe they figured the other guys are timing guys and need it more, then Boyce of course who hasn't really gotten many chances with him.

Exactly what I thought, Brady has his WR's picked out and KT has passed AD as one of his favorite targets.

I watched a little of the game again and Boyce had one reception for around five yards on a little quick pass from Brady to the left side.
