I would say 60/40 he ends up on IR again and goes into next year fighting for a depth spot. But even 40% is worth the odds as he would be back around week nine and could be valuable depth depending on how the team is looking at that point.

Seems reasonable and likely the way the team is viewing it. Getting him back at full health for the last 1/4 of the schedule and into the playoffs would be huge imo.
