Nice win for the Black and Gold. Seeing they had 2 PP goals I expect the Habs will get a serious advantage at the Belle Centre'

Here is to hoping the Bruins send the Habs packing once again.:suds:

To me. Montreal played like it is over already

No Heart, No Passion, No Disiplane, No perferction (very sloppy)

Almost like they were trying to become Vancouver

LOL I was watching the highlights and it showed Shawn Thornton laughing after he did that to PK and then when the refs looked at him he stopped laughing and then when the refs looked away he started laughing again - it was great

Not really. Low rent move by a classless player. Had Subban done something like that, Bruins fans would be shouting for him to be suspended. It was a stupid, dangerous move

You've successfully passed BlueWolfZero for the dumbest post in this thread. Only a fucking idiot would insinuate Boston has no heart, passion or discipline. Lol @ perfection.

Minus the few dipshits who take dumb penalties, we are one of the tightest teams when it comes to our system. And if need be, we have quite possibly the best PK in these playoffs.

In short, fuck off.

Good game Bruin fans. I blame my mother. I ran out in the first intermission to pick up something for her and when I got back it was 3-0. Thanks Mom.

I thought the Habs played awful. Sloppy and undisciplined. First game of the playoffs they didn't look ready to play. So the fact that they played so bad IMO gives me hope for game 6. Then again they were so streaky in the regular season it might point to another crappy game coming.

LOL just the opposite for me. I got a call from my gun club that had a big event (rental hall) and they could not get the monster TV to work (the thing is a pain in the ass) so I run up there and am listening on radio and Bruins score and again. Get there fix the TV and cause I believe in Karma so much listened to the entire game in my truck.

It was a stupid move by Thornton and I expect it to be fined for his actions. No need to give the Habs a rallying point heading into game 6 either.

And there it is...

Francois Gagnon@GagnonFrancois
#NHL players safety department tagged a 2820,52 $ fine to Shawn Thornton for the «Watergate» incident with #Habs Subban at the end of game 5

That seems a bit light in my opinion.

And for those that might be a bit confused by this, yes that means $2820.52. French people use a comma for a decimal point and put the dollar sign after the number.

That seems a bit light in my opinion.

there's a very narrow band as to what they can fine a player (linked to salary).
basically the league has acknowledged that it was a dick move, and sets Thornton up as a repeat offender.

And you followed it up with "almost like they were trying to become Boston", not sure how else to interpret your post.
