That sucks. Does that mean we’ll get 47 different meh varieties of their 90 minute IPA?

Well, it's better than being acquired by Buttwiper.

As a former Bostonian and current Delaware resident, I have my fears that Dogfish's independence can be preserved.

Besides, Sam Adams makes me fart.

Honestly, there aren't many beers from either that I'll buy

I’m with you on that. I generally only get a Sam Adams when the waiter says “We have Bud, Bud Light, Coors, Coors Light, Miller Genuine Draft, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, Blue Moon and Sam Adams”

Other than occasionally drinking a 90 minute IPA, I don’t drink much Dogfish Head.

75 minute is the best one and they don't bottle it.

So many good IPAs out there now, so I'm not messing with Dogfish stuff anymore.

That's not true, they were sold in 6 packs fairly recently (I think last fall?). I think they still do bombers of 75 as well, or at least they used to. I agree 75 is the best Minute IPA though. I don't get the 120 love.

I do like a 120 every once in a while, but it's really just the novelty of it...which isn't really there anymore. When it came out, how many other IPAs were over 10%? Now, you can pick up a Hopslam at around 12% (I think) or multiple other double or triple IPAs at 10%+ that taste smoother.

I am very close to the Dogfish brewery. But, I like some of the smaller breweries better.

The whole Micro Brew thing is a damn joke IMO anyway. I have tried several and most suck but hey "They got a cool name"... I have a list of beers the wife keeps on her phone so when she is shopping she has choices.

1. Old Speckled Hen
2. Pilsner Urquell
3. Smithwicks
4. Harp (Summer Choice Only)
5. Molson Golden ( Summer Choice Only)

She always manages to keep the beer fridge stocked.

There are some bad ones, but there are really good ones too. I mainly drink Columbus beers, but only the ones I like

Yup, I also found the 75 last year or the year before....really liked it....Their Palo Santo Marron was solid, but more of a dessert beer, a one and done....I'm not a fan of Sam Adams at all and the owner Jim Koch seems like a real douche from what I've read.....

I like Dogfish's Indian Brown, Seaquench, and 60/75/90 Minutes

Their various IPAs are alright, but their base beers are their best.

Really this has no affect on me. Dogfish has been expanding a lot lately and maybe this frees Sam up to do something really creative.

Palo and Burton Baton (that and Great Divide Yeti were my first two beers I bought when I turned 21) are my two absolute favorite DFH beers. Palo drinks way more like a stout than a brown ale. I still think Burton's a very unique IPA.

Of all the Sam beers I still think the Boston lager is their best, I also like their Winter Lager.

Was a time when I loved me some Dogfish, but like @gobucks0409 said, the novelty has worn off. It's just another redundant but over-priced option to me now.

Agree, those are about the only two of theirs I will drink. If someone's got a case of Porch Rocker in the summer I'll drink one, but i won't go buying it myself.

Occasionally I'll get one if I'm at a lame airport bar that only has Sam Adams, domestics, Stella, and Leinenkugal.
