He just noticed our back-up/back-up QB Dylan Thompson standing there and realized that he might be our starter later in the season, so he pulled up lame on the follow-through.

"101 Reasons why we schedule tough OOC games"- Va. Tech

I suppose I should have included you in the first one.

Boise St, Alabama*, Nebraska, LSU*, USC*, and Texas A&M in the last decade isn't to shabby.

*-Won a national title that year.

Six solid teams out of the past ten years, with 4 OOC games a year, impressive. Did VT even bother to schedule an OOC game against a team in an AQ conference this year?

Damn, you mean the 2000 Orange Bowl and the Rose and Fiesta wins weren't wins? How about "How Schedule Good OCC Opponents" by the UF AD.

I was actually thinking about 03 Sugar, 04 Orange, 06 Fiesta, 07 Fiesta, and 08 BCS Title games.

Glad OU could break the drought against an 8-4, unranked UConn.

which is 6 more solid teams than most of the AQ teams can talk about.

also you missed that we played Nebraska twice, LSU twicem and A&M twice...
so thats 9 games right there

toss in a #6 WVU in '04 (played them twice as OOC as well), #16 Marshall in '02 (they were ranked, but if you dont want to consider that one a solid match up because of their school name, i understand)

so when you get down to it, thats 11-12 solid OOC match ups in 10 years...far more than most AQ teams schedule

next time you speak, think first, you wont come out sounding so foolish:finger:

You schedule Marshall every year, and they ended up being good once, niiice.
Most AQ teams in that frame have the same if not more solid OCC matchups and my point being that Va Tech has maybe 2 tough ACC games a year, so they need to schedule tougher schools OOC or their schedule is on par with BSU's. Especially this year, in which you play only two tough games.

:L you obviously didnt take my advice about thinking before you speak. i stopped at the bolded part, as you are obviously a little slow on the uptake, there is no need to further make fun of you, its not nice making fun of the handicapped.

VT vs Marshall, Alltime

9-2 with games in 1913, 1914, 1939, 1940, 1951, 1952, 1953, 2002, 2005, 2009, 2011
