I'm So High Right Now
I'm not sure how to feel about your statement because there is not a smilie to indicate how I *should* feel.
That's because I'm super cereal.

Of course he was joking around, he has nothing but the upmost respect for all Southern teams, and thinks they really add to the overall quality to the NHL.
If you get annoyed by him, just wear these:
Damn, I hope I don't have to explain this joke?
Don't let it get to you, he thinks all teams South of the Canadian border are a joke, and don't have fans as passionate as they are in Canada.
My advice is to just keep on keeping on.
Just a select few. There are quite a few places south of the border whose fans are even more passionate than ours are in Toronto, Buffalo being one.
I was going to come back and say I most likely shouldn't of let my emotions get the better of me. (No I'm not sorry for it.) But instead I have a question. Are Southern hockey teams really just a joke in what seems to be the popular view? Because as a Southern team hockey fan and as a Southern I do take that a bit personally. Granted I'm aware I shouldn't. But considering how much emotion tends to go into a game and a team it's kind of hard not to. It's an honest question. An honest answer would be nice.
When teams have no attendance, no on ice success AND no hockey history that franchise is unlikely to be taken seriously.
The Lightning seem to have a bright future, so long as people support them. Right now the Lightning are lower-middle class in terms of attendance.
Never mind Mr. Sour Leafs forever, he's just a sore loser.
I realize that. But that can be said for teams that aren't in the South. I know the Lightning don't get the support they should. I know they have what it takes to be a great team. So I hold out hope yet. Perhaps I'm a bit to vigorous in my efforts to defend my team.
Hockey in the South has been something of a joke for many years now, and teams like the Yotes don't help to make those jokes go away.
This is just something that will be said no matter how hard of a fan you are.
Yotes aren't in the south. :p
Last I checked they are South of Canada. :tongue1:
