So once again 3 bold predictions for the game.

1) Broncos have over 175 yards rushing with Moreno getting over the 100 yard hump.

2) McFadden goes for less than 50

3) Broncos pick of Pryor 3 times in this one with one of them being ran back for a touchdown.

1. The Broncos, at least for one game, have no problem protecting Manning minus Ryan Clady. They hold the Raiders sackless.

2. The Broncos get off to a better start with a touchdown on their first possession.

3. Pryor finishes with under 100 yards passing.

None of those seem too unlikely by themselves. Getting all three would be awesome!

I'm sticking with my weekly predictions that (1) Colquitt, if he has to punt, will nail it and (2) Broncos will win.

Also, not really predicting it, but in order for my fantasy team to win I need
Moreno + J Thomas > Woodyard + 22. Still, I'd much rather Woodyard get a pick six than I would win my game.

1) Another 40+ point game for the broncos

2) The broncos get a pair of fumbles off McFadden and Pryor and a pair of interceptions

3) Manning is a paltry 280 yards 3 TD 0 INT and the run game gets going strong with a combined 150 yards and 2 TDs

Bonus: Champ makes it back with an INT.

That would give Manning the NFL record for TD passes through 3 games. I'd love to see that

I'll go with....

1) Fatboy Sly gets his first taste of an NFL sack.
2) DRC doesn't have one pass completed on him all night, and he gets a pick.
3) Offense doesn't even put up 30 points tonight, but we still win 28-10.

Thanks Hutch.

I really like the way Robert Ayers has developed this year. He is playing some good ball.

Yeah, Ayers is finally producing on the field like we've been expecting/hoping for. With Doom gone and Von out, it couldn't happen at a better time. Fingers crossed that he keeps it up.

Ayers went from a 4-3 DE in college to a 3-4 OLB in the NFL and back to a 4-3 DE and with a new defensive coordinator almost every year. I am surprised he managed to stick in the NFL that long with that much turmoil going on for him. He has been in the same scheme for 3 years now with the same coordinator for 2, now is the time to judge him.

Also, Dumervil used to always say when asked about Ayers and his pass rush that alot of time Ayers got there first and forced the QB to move in the pocket and into Dumervil's arms.

Well I was really close on the rushing yards in the game. I was right on McFadden having a horrible day...I was almost too nice by giving him 50 yards to possibly run for. Final one though just kind of stunk it up but hey another victory and that is all we need!

As for Ayers the guy has had his times over the last couple of years of looking like the guy we all hoped for in just blowing right by the OL. This year looks like he is finally confident in what he is doing and it is showing up on the field. I look at this year and twice he had Manning in his arms and Manning somehow escaped then against Oakland he had another couple times beyond just his sacks where he almost had Pryor. The guy actually looks like the real deal. All of us thought Wolfe would be the one to really break out this year but now Ayers looks like the man with a plan. The fact that he has done this against Left Tackles this year has just been down right impressive. Throw in he is 10x the run stopper that Dumervil was for us and it just makes him one of the major bright spots on our defense when we thought he could be a hindrance.
