Considering Smith through for a career best 26 TDs and just over 4,000 yards I am going to have to see 4,900 yards and 37 TDs. Would be nice though.

My thoughts about the linked guy's predictions:

1. This guy must be smoking crack. 4900 yds and 37 td's from Alex Freakin' Smith?!?! To whom is he throwing all them td's?!?!
2. Could happen. I'd settle for not fumbling and a 4.0 ypc.
3. If CT is healthy, this WILL happen.
4. Not likely. Reed hasn't played a full 16 games..... ever?
5. Only if Davis gets hurt. If Reed gets hurt, then Smith will ignore Sprinkle and throw to Davis.
6. Nope.
7. Possibly.
8. Crowder will probably be dangerous, that's true. 1,000 yds and 6 td's? Probably not.
9. Not likely.
10. If Roullier is an all pro center by the year's end, then the redskins will have a record of better than 9-7, that's for sure.
11. Almost a lock. TW is a warrior.
12 - 15. If these defensive predictions come to pass, AND if Roullier becomes an all pro, then the redskins should contend for the divisional crown.

AP will rush for 1000 yds and 4 yds per carry with 5tds
reed WILL play 16 games and push for a PB unless he is benched for the last game do to we are in the playoffs
moses makes the PB
PR leads the team in rec , yds and had 9 tds rec
sims will get 25 balls and 2tds
dox wont breakout
the skins defense will be 15 in scoring and 15 overall in yardage
FM will have a good year
RK will get 13 sacks smith 10 allen 5 payne 3 ioman 7 settles 1 with 7 pds
hood wont see the field much
ryan anderson will bust out
nicholson will push for a PB 5 ints
CT will have 1000 yds from scrimmage and 10 tds total
skins will make the playoffs and get that 1st elusive playoff win

Examining how the Redskins stack up against the rest of the NFC East

some predictions here about the teams

1. Smith goes 4400 yards and 33 TD's. This is not bold as Gruden's offense typically gets this.
2. AP will help establish the run game, but tire badly as we approach game 7, team signs veteran RB to rest him
3. Thompson will continue to dazzle us as he becomes a better version of himself prior to last years injury.
4. Doctson is a legitimate threat, Crowder bounces back and Richardson will remind us of a better version of D Jax. Big contributions from Harris and Sims this year.
5. Reed gets his All-Pro bid after injury free season.
6. Relative good health becomes the hallmark.
7. Defense will start slow as Offense carries the team early. Defense jells at or just after game 3.
8. Allen and Settles get Pro-bowl nods.
9. Anderson replaces Kerrigan due to injury (this one is for you @Sportster) holds his own until Kerrigan returns.
10. Teams cuts then signs a new Kicker.
11. 10-6 or better wins the division and Eagles knock the Vikes out of the playoff hunt claiming wildcard. Eagles 9-7...Vikes 8-8.
12. More nagging injuries to Williams, Lavaou loses job to an unknown

13. Agreement reached with D.C. to relocate to old RFK site. (during the season)
14. Bruce Allen leaves.

Yeah, that was a real knee slapper especially since they won't win their division and will be in a struggle with Philly for the wildcard. (They'll lose this struggle)

If that happens in that matter it will be a success for both teams. Remove QB from the equation & the Vikings are a much more talented bunch than the Redskins - at least at this time. The NFL is not simply about the QB position. If things unfold in this manner I certainly won't be upset - life is too short to constantly be playing the "what if" game.

BTW - I stated the above w/ the assumption that the Vikings beat the Skins in a playoff game. They don't play each other during the regular season & if the Vikings are going to the SB (as many here believe) I am not sure of any other realistic scenario where they could knock the Redskins out of the playoffs (& understand that this whole thing could just be sarcasm - no biggie).
