I'm already on record for the skins going 9-7 and winning the NFCE. I'll further it by predicting a top 12 defense this year, led by a top 5 in turnovers. I'll also predict our STs rank in the top half. As for offense, its going to be potent, but every one is predicting that.

I am a little confused about # 3 above. Sure - last year the Skins ranked near the bottom in this category under some pretty unique circumstances. However - the previous year they were in the top 3 in this category.

Why does it appear that you believe that all bad things for the Skins from last year can carry over yet you appear to hold no weight into things that happened two seasons ago? This is especially true for anything related to RG3 where you always appear to have the "glass is half full" philosophy for anything related to this guy.

Perhaps you don't see it, but your anti-RG3 bias is way over the top. I understand that you said that you don't hate the guy, but I have yet to see you say anything positive about the guy. Even this reply appears to state that the Skins will be better, but mainly because of anything except for RG3.

Its simple... much like another team in the east, I expect our coach to come out slinging the ball. We will put up alot of yards and alot of points because of this. BUt we will also have alot of turnovers. In 2012 our coach called alot of roll outs, bootlegs and SAFE passes. I dont think our new coach is going to call the safe passes so much if his last stop is any indication. And I do think last year is a closer indication of what we can expect as far as turnovers and such in a pass heavy attack. Thus big yards, decent scoring, but lots of turn overs.

I fully expected this team to compete with the best in the game (10-6...11-5...12-4) until I re-examined what we're working with. Offensive and special team improvements will be evident and hopefully consistent.


There is no measure that indicates defensive improvements. outside of Hatcher and Ryan what's changed? Haslett, had he the capacity to scheme the team into better production, would have.....last season!! Unless we are all completely surprised with dramatic changes in the starting roles of second and third year players and new reduced roles for the more seasoned vets there's gonna be more of this........Pts allowed..29.9 (31st)........YDS allowed...354.1 (18th).....Pass YDS against...243.5 (20th)......Rush YDS against...110.6 (17th)


Translation: Somewhere in the 7-9.....8-8.....9-7 range and a major rebuild in the coming off-season defensively.
