Two words: Chris Petersen.

Boise will be back. Mark my words. This guy coaches up like no other coach in the game. Boise may have a few "down" seasons (for them) but Petersen will have these guys back. You can count on it.

Yep. Too true. But he aint going nowhere. I am sure that several AQ schools have already offered him half of the world to go.

Peterson will be coaching in the PAC12 soon. I would say either Washington after Sark gets canned, USC is a possibility, and OSU a long-long shot.

Nope, just calling it like I see it. As always.

Before people were beefing Boise up and I was against it because they were good but they weren't undefeated Ohio State or anything like that.

Now people are talking crap about them and Petersen will have them back up to speed. So I'm trying to draw a line somewhere that makes sense.

He just needs to find another of these. It's all about the quarterback. If he can find one, he'll be fine. I hope he doesn't leave.

Guys, google "Jalen Greene"

This.

Also, Geneh is correct. Boise will be back.

Kellen Moore was a hell of a QB, but we are getting some of the best recruits we have ever had. Our D is VERY, VERY young. Only two seniors. Give this team this year, and into next... and if our QB after Southwick is decent, we will be back. I mean, we possibly have the best RB corps in BSU history between Jay Ajayi, Aaron Baltazaar, and Jack Fields. Stacked there.

Jalen Greene is a QB committed to BSU, and the kid is a straight baller. Should be awesome next few years...

Like who? Since Boise has been relevant (2007), how many major powers have needed a coach?

Ohio State - Didn't bother, got Urban
Michigan - Didn't try, got old Michigan assistant Hoke
USC - Didn't try, got USC legacy moron Kiffin
Notre Dame - Picked a hotter coaching commodity in Kelly
Penn State - Didn't have a chance with all of the sanctions en sech

What powers have really had the chance? Now that both Texas and USC are going to be coming open soon, if they come calling, he will be gone. He's lost some luster over the past season and almost a half. He will take an offer while he still can.

You would think so, wouldn't you? And there are 126 FBS programs. And you don't know what's been offered under the table.

Chris Peterson to USC.

Cal was more of this dream job, then USC, and he turned them down last year. UCLA threw a kings ransom at him and he still didn't take it.

Peterson isn't going anywhere. USC isn't a good fit for him. Too much gaga attached with the job.

He turned down Stanford while they are a national power, and he's turned down every other lesser AQ program that has called, like Arizona.

If he is thinking about leaving this is the year to do it, I'll bet USC, Texas and Nebraska (...oh and BAMA since Saban is going to Texas ) are already talking to his agent.
I don't think he goes anywhere though, he and his wife both love the area.

BSU will finish 10-2 beat Fresno in the ccg rematch and win their bowl this year. I wish UWs down years were similar.
