Boise State Basketball 2014-15

Probably a good sign that we're off to a decent start to our basketball season and we haven't made a thread yet, because that indicates football is still doing good!


Either way a 4-1 start to the season

we got crushed by Wisconsin, but they're really good this year

we struggled against some bad teams though, got to clean that up with some huge games at NC State and St. Mary's

We got the win against Idaho, Rice is doing good things over on the hardwood

I expect another trip to the Big Dance this year. With all the returning players i don't see BSU not going.

the door is definitely wide open for us to become the 2nd best team in the Mountain West this year

Wyoming seems to be the second best team although it's still very early. This is a one bid, maaaaybe two bid league this year. I don't see Boise getting in with this team although again, it's very early and there's a lot of hoops yet to be played.

This sounds like a comment that a second grader would make but I've always loved your mascot and particularly your school colors, my favorite in the nation. Your football field and basketball court are completely off the charts too.

Was a great OT win, Saw some good things out of the young ones.

I would like to renege this post and say that after today's domination of San Diego State we are now in contention for an at-large bid in the tournament, and with how we're playing winning the Mountain west is not out of the question either.

What a remarkable turnaround

Now the rest of the way we can only afford to lose the rematch to San Diego State, the rest of the teams are pretty much landmines for us

especially UNLV. they have struggled this year but have the talent to beat anybody

they beat Arizona as well as a tournament contending Temple team and lately they have been playing better.

They aren't exactly a devastating loss but one we cannot afford to take right now.

Something woke this team up. They have been a team to be reckoned with the last 7 games. A couple close games with a few blow outs. Wishing the Broncos much success the rest of the way.

Well down goes our at large hopes

That loss will definitely prevent us from getting in without a Mwc championship

I think this is the most disappointing basketball result in my opinion

Got to give it to Rice though, normally our expectations are low so we're never disappointed

Rice will get us there as an at large agajn eventually, little disappointing it won't be this year

Marks really deserved to be there his senior year

I think if they finish 6-0 or even 5-1 with a good showing in the MWC conference tourney they'll get an at-large. Tough task though.

Dudes, guess who is in 1st Place in the MWC? If we don't step on our peters in the last 2 games we sould be #1 seed in the tourney.
