You think they make more than $1 million per home game (after variable operating costs)? I'm not so sure.
Regardless, there's a benefit to the program that has economic consequences down the road, so I think they need to suck it up and take the show on the road until they have a real stadium that it makes sense for major powers to visit.
Absolutely they do. The home team recives WAY more of the gate, the TV money, they get all the concessions they dont have to pay travel expenses incurred. There is a reason that almost every team that makes a bowl game actually loses money by going to said bowl ( unless its a BCS bowl). Travel is freaking expensive. You are hauling 100-125 people around and paying air, hotel, food etc.
