I must say, you guys are funny! I had tears in my eyes from laughing.

But, compare the stats and the D we poke so much fun at did better in this game than the best D in the country. You can say what you will about MSU not needing to do more, but I can assure you that Mark D would have preferred to have the game end up 41 to 0! There were 2 defining moments during this game, 1 was the TA turnover just before the half (couldn't rightfully expect any D to stop the TD at that point) and the successful fake FG (should have been stuffed - I forget who was to the right of the kicker, but he must have had his eyes closed as the kickers foot passed by the ball as he didn't know where the ball was until it was too late - the coaches had him in the right spot).

NU's special teams are horrid, it's no wonder a fake FG (as ugly/unorthadox as it was) worked.

On the TA turnover just before half....Who in the fuck calls a play on the 1 foot line where the guard has to pull? The odds of a safety with that call were higher than a fumble. TA is already standing in the end zone as he's under center.
