IMO there is no chance Jacksonville takes Smith. Then have too many other needs. They will take either OL, DL, or CB. More than likely DL, Bradley is a defensive guy and he will want to build his team there. They will give Gabbert 1 more year or take a mid round guy.

Owners don't show up at Pro Days unless they're serious about a prospect. Shad Khan, the Owner of the Jaguars attended Smith's Pro Day. That says a lot!

excerpt~

Gus Bradley has a big decision to make in his inaugural season as Jacksonville Jaguars coach. Should he stick with third-year quarterback Blaine Gabbert, who has been a disappointment since the Jaguars took him with the 11th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft?

Or should he use the second pick in the 2013 NFL Draft to grab a rookie signal-caller in a draft seemingly devoid of a franchise option?

Thus far, Bradley hasn't given many signs as to which route he will take, but he did attend former West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith's pro day last week along with Jaguars owner Shahid Khan and left very impressed.

Gus Bradley sounds impressed with Geno Smith - NFL.com

Bradley is a defensive coach, he will take a defensive player. More than likely either Floyd, Jordan, Ansah or Milliner. DL is the most likely choice. This team isn't good enough for Smith to make a difference.

He's ranked 4th and 5th at OLB bc those rankings include Mingo and Jordan, who clearly don't play the same position as Brown

Actually Dion Jordan is an OLB while Barkevious Mingo is projected to be an OLB in the Pro's. And you just made my point. Pass rushing LB'ers such as Jordan, Mingo and Jarvis Jones always go high while the athletic and undersized ones tend to to fall. Happens every year.

Marvin Lewis is a defensive coach and he took Carson Palmer as his 1st ever pick. So whats your point?

Are you really going to tell me an Owner of a Team, with all the things they have to deal with, is going to take the time out of their busy day to attend a Pro Day if they weren't serious about taking that player? I mean, I think that's just common sense to say that the Jags are interested in Geno Smith. But that's just my opinion and my vote.

They may be interested, but they aren't taking him. I'd bet money on it. Lots of money.

Not to mention that pass rushers Sam Montgomery, Damontre Moore, Cornellius (tank) Carradine and Corey Lemonier will all probably be there at the top of the 2nd Round. But again that's just my opinion.

They are 3-4 OLB's not 4-3 OLB. They should not be grouped together.

All of those outside of Montgomery are 3-4 guys. Jax runs a 4-3, they aren't taking them.

Are you ever right about anything? All are pass rushing Defensive Ends that would be ideal 4-3 ends. That why I listed them.

Sam Montgomery DE 6'3¼" 262 LSU
Damontre Moore DE 6'4½" 250 Texas A&M
Cornellius (tank) Carradine DE 6'4⅛" 276 Florida State
Corey Lemonier DE 6'3⅜" 255 Auburn

I honestly think your suck Mel Kiper and ESPNs dick. Montgomery is a 4-3 end. Moore and Lemonier are not. Carradine probably could be.

So are a lot of players that play 3-4 OLB in the nfl. Aldon Smith was a DE in college, so was Von Miller, etc, etc, etc.

Good God Tubbs, is your name Marty McFly? Can I borrow the Delorean this weekend? I would like to go back to the day your mom and dad conceived you and slap them in the face.

You act like you have already seen this entire draft already unfold.

Can you please tell me who the Bengals picked from 1-7 and what their final record was in 2013? I would really appreciate it.

You can't win in this league without a good QB, Jacksonville does not have a good QB, they do not even have a decent QB, they have a horrible QB. They have a much better chance or nabbing their franchise QB now and finding some defensive gems in round 2-4 to help their defense. Drew is telling them, get me a QB so my job on the ground is not so damn difficult.

They have a high enough pick in the second round, if they really saw someone they were in love with, they could trade back up into the first round and grab that pass rushing DE they need.

Seeing Newton, Dalton, Kaepernick, Wilson, RG3, Luck, and what those QB's are doing with their teams, it makes it REALLY hard to not consider Geno Smith #2, if they don't trade up to #1 to ensure they get him.
