it's in the rumor mill thread..

basically some report came out of miami saying bo had permission to speak with them..

then an article came out quoting TO and Bo saying they knew nothing of it.

I'm sure Miami would love to have Bo. In reality Bo is a Big 10 Midwestern type of guy with the midwestern attitude; which probably wouldn't sit well at Miami with their players. Yes the weather is nice in Miami and if Bo was from Miami; then I would worry. Don't get me wrong Miami is a good gig; but Bo wouldn't fit in there.

The Big 10 is better than the ACC. Bo loves Big 10 football; his family loves Lincoln Nebraska. Where would you rather raise your young family? Lincoln or Miami. He also is very loyal to his players and Tom Osborne.

I was just talking with some friends about the Husker Fan's paranoia this season, which is on overdrive. It seems this stems from Pelini's and Martinez's lack of communciation with the media. If both would have said during interviews how much they enjoy Lincoln and playing/coaching at Nebraska there wouldn't be an rumors or paranoia. If Bo would say; I want to finish my career at Nebraska - everyone would be happy. But should we expect them to come out and say such things? Probably not but it would immediately cease all rumors.

That being said; if Bo is tired of the spotlight and does leave. I would expect T.O. to come out of retirement for a few years until a suitable replacement is found.

TO Will NEVER come out of retirement. He went out absolutely on top and he has nothing to gain by coming back.

i think Tuby is gone if offered the Miami gig. He is already on record saying he doesn't think the Big 12 will be around for much longer.

I just heard on espn where Miami was looking to talk to Pelini about it. Schools talk to many people about open positions, thats no big deal, whats intriguing is denying it whether you have any interest in the position or not
