Andrew Alberts back in the line-up (Tanev out?)
Samuelsson named 2nd star of last week, so look for him to disappear again

Sens have lost 9 straight, Nucks have won 5 straight.
Hope the home team doesn't look past the game.

Besides, the Robots have to answer Stamkos' 4 point night :D

Go Canucks Go!!!!!

On an Islander board they mentioned the possibility of a Konopka + for Mason Raymond deal. I guess even MacKenzie even mentioned it. Have you heard anything?

Last week Henrik killed me. This week my opponent has Daniel. I can't escape these damn robots.:L

The Sens are in freefall. I figure by the end of the week the only team they'll be ahead of is Edmonton.

When we were talking about moving guys to fit in Salo's salary, Raymond was mentioned, but not high up on the list (Samuellson, Torres).
That's not necessary with Edler's injury.

Konopka has been mentioned as a potential addition (good on draws, tough, cheap).
But Raymond would be way too much for him. that + would have to be pretty special, as ZK is a UFA anyways, right?

I don't think they will move Raymond. You can't teach that kind of speed, and it would mess up the lines.
we're running pretty well right now, so i don't think they would move a significant piece.

I don't know what else the Islanders would add to the deal. Parenteau is a possibility I guess. It would be cool to have Grabner & Raymond on the same line though. Wind them up & let them fly.:D

Sens have lost 9 straight

Wow.

Still only five points behind Toronto (and a better first round pick for the Bruins). You can do this, Ottawa. I know you're playing the best team in the league, but try to have the mind set of playing against the old days Nucks. Think, "Hey, it's just Trevor Linden and a bunch of scrubs. We got this."

No way. The Leafs are going on one of their legendary streaks up the standings to end in 9th in the east and the 13th pick for the Bruins!!!:D

As for this game? The Canucks can look past, under, over, around or through the Sens. Unless their team bus breaks down or they all get the Ebola virus in the next 2 hours, they win this game in a walk.

Just to re-visit the Kessel trade. DID BURKE REALLY HAVE TO TRADE TWO LOTTERY PICKS WITHIN THE DIVISION?????

The good news is he'll probably do it for you, too. I think it's club policy for the Leafs not to have any first round picks. Offer Mike Fisher for five first rounders. They'll bite.

Brian Elliott is in goal so the Canucks win this in an absolute cakewalk...

And what's sad is that by the time the Sens get back to Ottawa they could be in last place in the entire league.

for a while, they had Raymond / Kesler / Tamby as a line. flat out wheels!!!
then Tamby lost his confidence, and is now on the 4th. Hodgson is starting out on the 4th,
so there is still some decent talent there (and Glass).
4th line has scored in a couple of straight games now.

one more minor note... Raymond's emergence last year was what made Grabner expendable.
(ie. Grabner was a top 6 player or bust, and Raymond earned that last remaining spot more)
So I don't think they'd ship out Raymond without getting top 6 skill / speed back.
They probably don't want to put Hodgson in that role quite yet.

Where's that gif of a tiny violin playing?

LOL

Maybe they'll leave Ruutu in Vancouver? That's where his heart is according to him...

Here's that violin btw lol
