The Isles have avoided arbitration with Blake Comeau. He signed a 1 year 2.5 million dollar contract.

The Islanders have also signed Jon Sim to a 1 year deal. My guess is for Bridgeport.

I would actually do that trade. I don't think DW would though. The Sharks like Braun a lot. He would have played more games in the playoffs if he were healthy.

I think Garth is looking for someone with a bit more experience as well.

Yeah I figure that the Isles are looking for Vlasic or Murray but I am hoping that the Sharks keep the depth on D. I feel much better with Vandermeer as a 7th dman.
