Actually not a bad trade for the Flames

/It's too bad Torts isn't around any more for Hartley to troll with a starting lineup of Bollig, McGrattan, and Westgarth.
Brandon Bollig actually has some skill too, which will make their 4th line better
The guy played all 82 games for the Hawks last season, I agree, he's more than just a 4th line plug. Canucks used a 3rd round pick to get Dorsett, Flames use a 3rd round pick to get Bollig, in my opinion, Bollig > Dorsett.

Evil genius? Or crazy old senile man?
Tough call

He is a burke kind of player for sure
Bollig is probably better than Dorsett, but both are bad moves.
Bollig has never topped 15 goals/31 points at any level, and that happened 7 years ago in the USHL. He's only got 13 goals and 11 assists in 146 career AHL games. And he's already 27 years old. He's absolutely nothing more than a 4th line plug.
Well, I'll respectively disagree that it is a "bad" move, I don't know how many 3rd round picks suit up for all 82 games and average over 10:00 minutes of ice time a night on a Stanley Cup contending team. The money that is being paid Bollig is just over a million for three years, so it's not as if it is a huge committment financially either.

Looking just at the Blackhawks roster I count 8 players drafted in the 3rd round or lower that outscored Bollig last year.
