It's odd we have so many disagreements, but basically see the team finishing around the same quality.

Nobody else getting in on this? If the Bills make the playoffs, you won't be able to say "I told you so" later.

That's because our agreement comes in the most important slot....the terrible QB. Every other position is playoff material, IMO.

Actually, after getting throttled by Denver and Green Bay, and having a season finishing date with New England on deck, I wouldn't be shocked to have a then seasoned Derek Carr take care of business against us too! Assuming Manuel doesn't progress.

So, even with terrible QB play (again), we still pull out a win! Thanks to our defense!!!!! Our defense that doesn't need an overpaid Byrd (giving up 37 to Atlanta). Spikes is a monster in the middle, our D line is great and our corners do enough.

Good work Buffalo! Now, if E.J. could play above average, we might have a shot at some wins!

Your guys played a good game today. The Bills certainly have a very good defensive front, and can run the ball very well. They could be pretty tough in the AFC, I believe. I would have liked to have seen the game with a healthy Marshall and Jeffery, but I suppose that's how football goes. We shot ourselves in the foot, and you guys were opportunistic. Certainly earned the W.

I agree, if EJ can play well enough to keep the opposition somewhat spread out on defense, the Bills could certainly reel off some wins this season.

As for the Bears, tough TOUGH loss today at home, and it doesn't get any better going on the road to SF for a Sunday Night game, and then to New York to see the Jets for a Monday Night contest. Most Bears fans are jumping off of the ledge already, but I always like to think I can keep a level head. Things change so quickly in this league, and you're certainly never as bad or as good as you think you are.

Good luck! Go make some noise in the AFC East!

Were Marshall and Jeffrey hurt? Seems like it couldn't have been that bad. They definitely contributed and Cutler got plenty of yards in the air.

Congrats on the win, Bills. I thought for sure they'd blow the lead (they did) and lose (they didn't).

BTW...I watched the Saints game. Byrd had some monster plays, including a forced fumble. Ryan shredded the Saints all over the field. That was a team effort in getting torched.

I think 8 wins can be done. They just need to beat the teams they should beat. That means no laying an egg against the Texans or Raiders.

At least Marshall and Jeffery played. We didn't have our best corner, Gilmore, as in Out status prior to the game.

Jeffery missed most of the second half and Marshall came out a few times to get his ankle re-taped. Bills won that one largely by capitalizing on turnovers, even if all they did was flip the field and keep the Bears starting in their own end instead of scoring.

Totally gave thst game away against Houston. Basically dominated them the whole game defensively. Why we abandoned the run up 10-0 then up 10-7 then down 14-10 beats me. Almost 5 yards per carry against a bad run defense thrown away with 40 freaking pass attempts (19 completions)!!!!????? WTF?

If we don't make the move to Orton we're done.

EJ Manuel is terrible. I knew he was going to be a bust the day they drafted him. Typical Bills. I honestly think Kyle Orton gives them a better chance.

They win that Houston game with a QB even just the caliber of say...Ryan Fitzpatrick. Oh wait. God the Bills just can't humiliate themselves any further...but we know they will find a way.

Are we allowed to modify our record prediction now that Orton is playing? lol. Mine was based on the idea that we'd have nothing but incompetent, horrible QBs all 16 games (EJ, Tuel, whoever). I still wouldn't have them in the playoffs, but I'd probably bump them up a win or two.
