I mean - he went into the fencing posture again - and that's the 3rd time he's done that = major brain issues.

I'm not a Dr - but I can't imagine I would want to put my career on the line by clearing a guy who is clearly going to become an invalid if he keeps being allowed back onto the field...

If the NFL is serious about head issues - at the VERY minimum, Tua has to miss the rest of this year. Probably more.

Maybe not, but NE will beat Fins 2X
Who knows man. Pats gave a good game last week, but they need to keep it up. Hard schedule for such a tenderfoot team.

I saw something like that. He was still/comatose for sometime (5-10) maybe more seconds.

Tua should probably consider retiring to be honest given his many injuries. I would hate for his brain to become mush because of all of the hits he’s taken and I’m afraid that’s where it’s going.

With Tua likely out, will the Fins roll with Thompson or bring in someone new?

The problem (from my opinion) is even if he comes back from this (50/50) at best, he can't run ball and his down field passing is suspect at best. Miami was in tough position on that contract. They rolled the dice, I'm thinking they lost that roll. Will be set back from numerous years.

Bills win it 31-10. They just own the Fins, great performance by the Bills D especially given that they have a lot of new guys there. Allen didn’t even need to throw much, he just threw for 139, so we‘ll continue to see how he does with the new receivers, but it’s a 2-0 start for the Bills.

If I'm his mentor, advisor, whatever you want to call it...I'm telling Tua with the utmost authority, time to call it a career, my man. I'm sure he doesn't want to hear that, but enough is enough.

He's blessed to have made it this far. I feel for him, but it's time to retire.

Yep, why play anymore. I would check out.
Sad to say but ten years from now his quality of life may already be dramatically reduced because of what has already happened. Risking that further? CTE is no joke.

When did it become proper to wear a jump suit, or just a favorite T-shirt to "announce" the game. Have we totally lost our values and respect in the world of sports. We still ask college kids to wear suits when traveling for games. Why shouldn't we ask for our announcers to be of the same level.

Gotta bring someone in. Thompson is practice squad level.

Seriously...Shouldn't there be some concussion limit in the NFL? I get it could make players try to hide it but i guarantee you they already are hiding them.

My nephew had 7 concussions in high school playing football, 4 were hidden because the coach had a 3 concussion limit. Still, that concussion limit is what got him to ultimately stop playing.
