Biggest surprise of the season?

With healthy additions to the offense, upgrades along the defensive front and additional infusions of younger bodies to play special teams. Which is more likely to stun us all with their contributions to this teams success/failure this season? Personally, I believe that offensive expectations tend to be a bit overblown yet understandable. Defensively, there is a heavy reliance on the front seven to mask weakness in the secondary. Instability in the punting game, coverage and return units were especially troubling just a season ago. That said, I still think that the biggest surprise this season will be on the offensive side of the ball. To me this team bears an eerie resemblance to past teams (the Jurgensen years) where they were able to score on anyone but just not enough to overcome the failings of the other two units. What say you?

I'll go out on a limb and say Amerson will be the biggest surprise this year. He has the skill and the potential. He now also has a year under his belt. If he can put it all together with the help of a much better pass rush, I'll say he has 5+ Ints this year. My second place break out star is Kerrigan. I believe he gets enough rest to really make a difference when he is in there. I think we may see him all over the field making plays. I'll say he has 10-14 sacks, 5 FFs, one INT and 12+ tackles for loss. He makes the PB.

On offense, I predict that Robert has a bounce back year. The guy is just too hard a worker and too driven to be satisfied with last year's performance.

No big surprise there, considering the roster. Here's what I'm looking for: which of the three units will surprise us with inspiring play or continued futility.

For me......the biggest Surprise for me would be that we are not a Markedly improved team...I expect RGIII to play great...I expect the WR's to have a big year...I expect Morris to have another banner year...I expect the Defense to be Improved........ST to be improved..........

So for me....if we dont see marked Improvement as a team ...that would be a total Shocker for Lonewate!!
