2 series vs contenders. Both teams are playing well. Interesting to see how it goes. Sooner or later, Heyward will start hitting right? Fowler , by far has been the most consistent. The thing that pisses me off most about Heyward is he always seems to be ahead in the count. 2-0, 3-1 and he rolls over on one. He has hit into some bad luck this year.

started out well, still no Soler, maybe he is hurt? FINALLY, they put Zobrist out in right field. I guess they will be stuck playing Soler if Sczcurs hammy is hurt for a while now.

It was odd in Iowa last night supposedly. Murton started but got replaced in the first inning I heard. I was seeing this on Twitter. I actually thought he was getting called up for Heyward. Then Szczur went down. Still no word why Murton left the game that I have heard anyway. Just odd maybe.

As far as the game- it actually surprised me. I thought they had the better P and our lineup was missing a couple. I would have thought Pitt would have won. Their lineup is deep. Not sure when Kong comes back but that will make them better as well. They remind me of our Pinella lineups- very RH oriented though.

Fowler continues to roll.

2-0. Wow . Really dominating this series. I would love a sweep right here . It's really amazing how well this team plays on the road. Scored 7 tonight and probably should have scored 10 -12. Baez at 3rd was awesome. The thing is he may be our best defensive SS too. Addy is smooth but the arm is not close IMO. Riz starting to get hot.

Lackey threw Sunday. The ideal thing is to pitch every 5 days. This is Lackeys fourth day off. With the rain outs, Hendrix got skipped.
