It's official! We can add Walter Jones to the list of Seahawks Hall of Fame players. I haven't been able to find a link to an article, but 710 ESPN posted the news on Facebook and John Clayton tweeted it.

The only reason why I thought he might not get in this year was the backlog of deserving players and the limited number of spots available per year. Obviously I had nothing to be worried about.

With the Superbowl tomorrow and the fact that it was pretty expected Walt would make the Hall of Fame this will likely be overlooked but congrats to him, one of the greatest Seahawk players of all time!

Walt used to beat Alexander to the end zone from 20 yards out with Pro Bowl defensive ends in his arms. Unbelievable talent.

Game planning with Walter on the team meant coaches and players could forget about the right side DE, he just flat out wasn't going to be a factor.

Man, if Big Walt could be given one more game, I wish this was it. I bet he still has plenty in the tank for 30+ minutes of play time (especially a SB) and would still outshine Okung at his age, no offense.

I think Willie Roaf may have been a tiny bit better, but that's just me.
