the more i see this the more im starting to disagree with it. im beginning to think that our homer-isms are starting to get the best of us when we are evaluating our team's talent....i think we are below the Michigans and tOSUs and even Wisconins, but don't see it behind our Scarlet and Cream glasses.

seriously, who on our team is truly elite talent...think about it for a while.
i think we are just above average talent wise, which is why we have just an above average record of 10-4 every year

I didnt say Iowa would be 9-2 ( they wont be), but if these spreads hold true then it would be a 9-2 Iowa vs a 9-2 Nebraska in Iowa City and there is a 0% chance Nebraska would be favored in that scenario. Point spreads are fine but if someone is going to take the time to do all that then they need to think about what they are saying. Im sure there are others on the list too but Im too tired to look. LOL.

Rex..thats 1 player. and, for as much as i love Rex, i wouldn't call him elite. i would just call him impressively consistent if i were being an unbiased observer

Rex is REALLY good but to call him elite is disengenous. Hes a top 15 RB in CFB but not elite. Hell he was probably the 3rd best RB in the B10 last year ( best case). I think Nebraska is a 9-3 or 8-4 team this year, could be slightly better if the defense plays much better but that will be tough with the guys you lost. 10-2 is probably your ceiling but it could be worse, you could be my team be lucky to get to 6 or 7 wins.

I did extensive research of this, and made a pretty damn clear and credible case for recruiting translating to success on the field, but it just turned into a flame war with jed. I'll pull the thread and show you the info. Disregard the pissing match.
