Xavier vs. Butler in the final. Xavier wins their first Big East Tournament title!

I think if Villanova wins their first round game, they are a lock for a #1 seed. Xavier needs to win two games to feel safe on the top line.

Seton Hall and Providence also have a legit shot to win and improve their seed.

Marquette with a win against DePaul and Nova are in. Beat only DePaul and likely out.

My prediction is Seton Hall versus Xavier, with Xavier winning.

This would be a banner year for this conference if they could get two #1 seeds. I hope it happens.

How is it fair for St. Johns to play at 12 Noon today after having a 7 PM start last night?

You have 2 games available where none of the teams played last night. Why not make those 2 games the early games? The 2 teams who advanced last night should be playing at either 7 or 9 but instead you have Seton Hall/Butler (2 teams who didn't play last night) at 930 PM? Where is the logic?

They do that because of they sell afternoon and evening sessions. And they want to give you a 'good' game and a 'bad' game.

They can't put the 1-8 & 2-7 games together, especially at night, because those are not the marquee games.

Essentially you get penalized for being the 8-9 seed, which I have no problem with. Also, St Johns is a de-facto home team, so any disadvantage from playing a back to back is balanced out by that.
