I would start Wilson this week.

As for the 3rd WR spot, you have some big names, but I don't trust any. I bet you could find a better matchup play on the FA list. Any of those would be droppable at this point.

Word for word with tlance, I agree.

And I actually have the same duo, and am starting Wilson over Ben!

This is Percy Harvin's last chance for fantasy. He is facing a defense that is not that great. He also has a bit of a revenge game going. He could be a very sneaky play. And since your other choices suck I would go harvin. As for picking up a free agent unless you can get Jarvis Landry or stedman Bailey I would not start anyone over harvin

Yep, I agree about the revenge factor and Harvin being a sneaky play. Oddly enough, the Vikes' Captain and Tennille-led secondary hasn't been all that bad, it's the run D that has been the sieve.

I also agree with you about Landry and Oprah's boyfriend.

Jets are going to run a ton, like they did last week. You may be relying on Percy taking a jet sweep or bubble screen to the house if you start him. 4-5 touches might be all he gets.

I agree the Jets will run a ton... But they will bring Percy in the running game, also they will not be able to only throw the ball 13 times again like last week... and they will feed harvin the ball... He can easily get 7+ touches this week...

and as it is a revenge game, the Jets very well might showcase Harvin just to keep him happy for future seasons... Keeping him happy will lessen the embarrassment of the Jets, and actually help Rex...

He might, but I am not willing to risk my playoff existence on a hunch. Here are Harvin's fantasy point totals since the trade:

4, 12, 5, 0, 2

He plays for a run first, run second, run third team against a defense who is poor against the run and decent against the pass. Also consider that Rex Ryan is coaching for his future right now, and he thinks Geno sucks. If Rex had any say, Geno would be on the bench. They almost beat Miami with an extreme version of ground and pound, and I think it would be foolish to expect anything different in week 14.

Also, why is Minnesota going to force the Jets into pass happy mode? They can't score either.

I've heard that Rex is going to be in the broadcasting booth next year. I'd actually love to hear him call a couple of Jets games.

i am not recommending to start him over anyone good... the question was either him, Crabtree or Bowe or free agent...

And i said that only landry on bailey are the only possible free agents i would start over Harvin...

I just think out of that pile, the gamble of harvin is very tempting... Especially in a revenge game... Big play players who do most of there damage after the catch is a good gamble since you are not limited to the QB in question... And with the motivation of a revenge game he very well play with that extra edge, and Rex Knows that he needs to keep the only offensive weapon that they have happy(at least i hope he knows that), especially since he is still the new toy that they are counting their future on...

would love to hear him calling the offensive side to see if he actually understands what is happening...

no, but if his wr3 is one of those 3 then we can assume it is a 12+ team league, and then we could assume who could be available...

And yes, i understand that is alot of assumptions, but isnt that the fun of giving other owners advice???

I read this thread earlier and didn't respond. I hate to break up the Russell Wilson love fest, but I would start Big Ben. I am sure that my minority opinion will get tossed but wanted to get on the record that someone likes Big Ben upside.

Yea I am not crazy about either of those 3 receivers. I would probably roll with Crabtree if I had to. Harvin has 1 rushing touchdown and no receiving touchdowns, Bowe has 0 touchdowns. At least Crabtree has found the endzone a few times.

Not seeing who is on free agent wire that may be the way to go. Is Nate Washington available? Im taking a flier on him with Hunter on IR and Wright out this game.
