Woof. Another terrible week for me. Maybe I've lost it. Like Peyton Manning, I hit the wall and now my prognosticating skills are gone.

Sometimes that is best. I belong to a football pool that does what we do here of making these kind of picks. The weekly winner wins a decent chunk of change. I came in 2nd I think 4 times last year. Which would stink but I came in 2nd overall (by 1 point to my best friend) and won what all 4 of those weeks would have been combined! So as long as you win in the end I would say that looks better than just winning one week. Not trying to take away from those who have already won. I haven't even been close this year weekly or obviously yearly at this point.

Wow... this is unexpected. Well, first I have to thank my parents. Without their love and support for my enthusiasm of sports, I wouldn't be half the man I am today. Maybe a few less cheeseburgers would have the same effect, but that is a whole 'nother story. I want to thank Lucas for putting this all together and keeping it going throughout our switch over from KFFL to the Hoop. I'd like to thank the Hoopsters for their warm welcome with open arms when we busted up in here and tried to crash58 the party. Each and every one of you guys have gone out of your way to make us feel at home and I think I speak for all of us ex-KFFLers when I say that you did a great job of doing just that. It was a major concern for us when we were forced to move that we wanted to find a group of guys and gals that shared not only our love for the boys in blue and orange, but for football in general. It really is a great thing to discuss your favorite team with people who actually know the game and not simply someone who catches a game here and there and only knows players from our team. This is a very knowledgeable group that can break down games with sound analysis and (most of the time) very little bias. It makes people want to come in here and see how everyone is assessing this team in their journey for a repeat.

Ok, I am getting the "wrap it up" sign, so I have to be quick. There are just so many people to thank and so little time to do so. I want to thank Aqib Talib for his great pick, as always... Von and the boys for their constant pressure. Shane Ray, for stepping up while Ware is out, the rookie, Paxton for being ready when called on... uhh... DT and Manny, as always, they rock. Pat Bowlen, Kubes, and most importantly, I have to thank God for sending us John Elway.
