Peyton Manning - Came into the NFL as the Golden Child. He was given the starting QB job for the Colts before he was even drafted. Skip Bayless calls him the best regular season QB of all time. For most of his career, was compared to Dan Marino because he broke all these records but never won the Big One, until he won the Super Bowl. He has only won one Super Bowl and been in 2.

Tom Brady - He was one who came out of nowhere. Did good at Michigan but was nothing special. Did good at some no-name football league and got a shot at back-up. Only got to play because starter got injured. Since then, he's taken the Patriots. Led his team to 5 Super Bowls and winning 3 of them.

I just realized I put this in the college football board, but oh well. It's still football.

Before Tom Brady started breaking records, I probably would have said Peyton Manning. Since Tom Brady has proven he can pass just as good as Manning statistically with his Super Bowl appearances and victories. I picked Tom Brady.

Screw that. If you were the best at your position but you had weaknesses all over the field....are you still the best at your position or not? Barry Sanders? That guy had one of the worst offensive lines, and a shitty team in general most years. He tore it up. No doubt in my mind that we'll never see a runningback like that again.

All things equal, Manning is a superior quarterback, but Brady has to be considered the best. Year in and out, he succeeded with a vastly different supporting cast and won regardless of who he played with.

The question is "better career", not most talented.

The way I see it is, the Huskers ruined Peyton Manning in the Orange Bowl..........so it makes the Huskers look better for me to say Peyton is better.

Peyton is better.

Ah okay, I think I see what you're saying. So if it were you personally, you could put up Marino stats but you'd be happier if you were Eli and had two rings. I can understand that, definitely.
