St Louis Browns. I tried to determine what the elf represented and I never really learned it.
It was in the early 50s before they moved to Baltimore. I am old enough to remember the early Orioles teams but not the Browns. Always found that franchise to be fascinating because it was so terrible.

You sure it’s an elf? Fucking thing has antennae.

I’ve always loved that logo. I even have one of the hats despite the fact that Wisconsin is full of fat women and fags.

I never met an elf that didn't have antennae. Anyway, it was called an elf, not unlike one that the Cleveland Browns had. It was hard to find anything that truly compared them and why two teams called the Browns had an elf for a mascot. And that both teams named the Browns ended up moving to Baltimore.

I think the poll is showing some trends ... as in, either there are no Tampa Bay fans or the ones who are on the board are spending a lot of time at the ballpark. Maybe we need a poll to address that.

Since you moved, Wisky has one less fag :suds:

For real though, why the hell did they get rid of it? Pretty much everyone I hear talk about it loves it.

Also, anything new come out about the sausage switch at the ballpark? I think it was you that posted an article about that. Seemed like maybe the new owners of the sausage company pissed the Brewers off, and I'm wondering if anymore came out of it.

That's a great line. I never met an elf that didn't have antennae either

Some of them have pointy ears transplanted on their heads to disguise the antennae.

They're still wear the throwback unis with that logo on occasion but have no idea why they don't use it all of the time. Bastages

Yeah, something was not right. Klements was a main stay for decades and I thought for sure they would have gone with the hometown Usingers but went with Johnsonville instead. Funny followup to that, apparently Johnsonville doesn't make hot dogs (da fuq) so they contracted Hebrew National to provide the hot dogs.

Truth is stranger than fiction sometime

Also, the Tigers minor changes made this year were big improvements to their uniforms, IMO.

Hands down one of the greatest baseball logos ever. Then you factor in that it was designed in the 70s and that blows my mind. There weren't a lot of great logos/uniform choices made in that decade.

The Cardinals also have great uniforms.

Of course, I'm kind of partial to the Indians blue uniforms and Wahoo hats.

Underrated, sure, but it doesn’t compare with the Brewers. The ?Brewers logo has no wasted imagery. The baseball in the mitt works to complete the “b” and complete the image of the mitt.

Conversely, the outline of the first arch in the “M” in the Expos logo is semi-hidden because it ONLY works for the “M”. It needs to be hidden in the “eb” potion of the logo.

Well done, but not perfect.

Just added it, didn't try to evaluate.
