Kills me to not vote for Deer Hunter, but The Departed was just SO tight. VERY tough choice.

I am struggling with Deer Hunter. My gut says it is the clear choice, but I watched it again a few years ago, and it was actually pretty boring. I am not sure it stands up any more.

I went with Deer Hunter, but I am still not 100% sold on it.

I like Dark Knight, but I have a hard time putting a comic book movie at the top of a strong category. I love them, but on a "best of" list??

Well being Double Indemnity didn't make the cut I gotta vote for something else. I have never seen Dark Knight so thats out. I thought about going with Deer Hunter but decided on Dances With Wolves...

The Dark Knight changed the superhero genre. The darkness of it made it so great.

It was the best of the series, yes, but I would argue that Batman Begins actually redefined the genre. Dark Knight just brought that change to the next level.
