So let’s take a look at both players’ third-season statistical lines; that’s Brown in 2018-19 when he was 22 and Kuminga this season at 21.

• In 2018-19, Brown started 25 of the 74 regular-season games he played, averaged 25.9 minutes, 13.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and shot 46.5 percent overall, 34.4 percent from 3-point distance. He had a 13.6 PER and produced 2.9 win shares.

• In 2023-24, Kuminga started 46 of 74 regular-season games he played, averaged 26.3 minutes, 16.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and shot 52.9 percent overall, 32.1 percent from 3-point distance. He had a 17.0 PER and produced 4.6 win shares.

Sure if he progresses greatly like Brown. Not everyone develops the same and some guys never develop. He could develop into some form of Brown even if it is a lesser version. He has the tools

Right...Brown made a huge leap his 4th year (discussed in article) so we'll see where Kuminga goes. It's the ceiling/upside that fits, and it's not unrealistic to think he could be that

It’s a totally, totally healthy response….
The article talks about how the Ws would be insane to trade him, you don't trade young two way dudes with his trajectory. Do you subscribe to the Athletic? If so check it out, also has some good stuff on what the Ws can or should do going forward. Personally I think this title window is done with Curry and Dray, but if they are smart they could compete again in a few years with Kuminga as the center piece. And with luck maybe I'm wrong.

I do and I’ll check it out

(What you said is obviously why I gave my totally normal and not twisted response, lol)

You gonna be big mad as he emerges as a star
Not seeing it. I get it though. The titles were fun and you don’t want it to be over. He’s got a ten cent head and no basketball IQ.

Like so many arguments, we get to see who's right over time.

I already posted that this title era is done. Warriors probably win another title in a new era before the Sixers do though.

If you were able to understand the writings of people who know the NBA better than you do, you might refrain from embarrassing yourself in this manner.

Could be right but let’s be real. The Warriors have been a garbage franchise since it’s been in the Bay Area until relatively recently. It’s like a mini version of the Patriots franchise. Garbage for years team almost folded once and then almost sold and moved later because of lack of local interest. Then they catch Brady and Wow. And now he left and they’re going to be garbage again for a long time. They’ll just be what they’ve always been. Warriors have been the epitome of meh until Curry fell into their lap and became the GOAT shooter during the evolution of the 3. OMG that’s kind of the Niners story too. Damn. Hot garbage. Catch Montana and Young on the coattails and then back to never winning a damn thing.

I’m good because I don’t have to read them. Some people can watch sports and draw their own conclusions. But that’s a great decision for you. In the era of an oversaturated media market that rewards hot takes your argument is “the writings of people who know the NBA”. I think that will pay off when you let such a quality piece of reference material tell you what to think.

Never a challenge getting you to try this kind of stuff LOL

You know I'm untrollable, especially about the Warriors after they won almost more than I could stand over a just ended decade. And that last part where you are proud to ignore thoughtful insight from your betters, well that's just the funbags way.
