Best Game so far this season

What game do you think has been the best the 1st half of this season? There were so many great games, but I put the 9 that I thought were the 9 best games

Sparty vs UW

Don't think it's even close from that list.

OU vs TTU? That game was awful to watch(Unless you were a Raider or an anti-OU enthusiast). Piss poor defense and 1/3 of the fans had left due to the weather.

That LSU vs UO game was a snore as well.

The Michigan vs ND game was horrid until the last 3 minutes. Bad football.

I didn't want to just vote some other game (as really it'd be any Oregon win in my very biased opinion)

I went with the MSU vs Wiscy game. That was pretty good ball throughout with a pretty exciting ending.

I don't doubt that those are the best of the best this year but man, This has been an awful year for entertaining football.

Yeah, I could put Iowa State beating Iowa on there but who would pick that? I could also pick other close games that are boring or blowouts. I wish you can have 15-20 options, but 10 is hardly enough. I think there are only a few that can be labelled as the "best game". I expect people to say "what about X vs X game?" or "X vs X game shouldn't be on there"

I put UW vs. MSU as well. It was the only game all year that I can remember where both teams executed very well and it was close. The only game that approached the excitement level that I can remember was UM-ND, and that was a game that was defined by teams making mistakes, not making great plays. The only other game that I remember being in the same league was Clemson-FSU, but I only saw the last five minutes of that. If the first 55 were as good as the last five, I think that game is probably better than all of the others on the list besides UW-MSU.

TCU vs Baylor

TCU falls behind, finally decides to let their new starter quarterback play with an actual offense, they score 24 unanswered within minutes, Baylor goes on a clutch drive to win the game.

MSU/Wisconsin is a close close 2nd.

3rd place would be my homer vote

4th would be Missouri vs Arizona State because of Pinkel saving all his timeouts for a 4th quarter comeback and then using two to ice his own kicker.

5th is Michigan vs Notre Dame because that was the most hilarious game so far, thanks to both teams epically failing.

We executed well? No.

We didn't execute well for this years Wisconsin team, but on the scale of 120 teams, I think that we executed pretty well. We made probably about eight significant mistakes, but compared to the UM-ND game (for example), that is a pretty low number.

Gamecocks over Kentucky 54-3. It's the only one that hasn't been hell for me to live through.
But that's probably a different definition of "best" than what you're looking for.
