That's pretty rich coming from a Cubs fan. At least you're "loveable" losers, right?

They are only losers on the field.

I can live with that.

we saw this when carson was here in the form of long snappers messing up extra points.

same old same old.

but, there are more important things in life than football. that's how they get away with it, no one pays attention. anyone paying attention knows what's going to happen. I stopped watching pro wrastlin' after the macho man left. I assume I'll stop watching this crap eventually too. I guess I'll watch next season. maybe just watch general nfl games.

someone in the nfl is going to back a truck up over burfict.

boomer E just threw Lewis under the bus and Cowher backed the bus over it.
laughable.

Dude, you need serious psychological help.

that's baseball though, entirely different.

this guy just came to troll. we're supposed to act like McCarron is the savior and everything's changed. I like McCarron, but he needs time.

yea, we're not going to put on act for you. we're jaded. there's plenty of perpetual optimists on the other bengals forums. I don't consider pretending that there is not something repeatedly predictably wrong to be supporting my team. you need to live in truth for true optimism to take effect towards the development of an idea or dream. dude, do you even psych? you're also too dense to sense sarcasm. you are a troll. just leave... good grief.

All I've said is support your team like a real fan. Instead, all you guys do is whine and cry and anytime something good happens you shit on it. You shit on your team, you shit on your players, you guys shit on everything.

You all gave up on this team before the game even started.

It's worse than stupid Alabama fans who think every little mistake by the team is the end of the world. And that's saying something. For someone who was just looking for a place to discuss the game with, it was downright annoying reading such crap.

Feels to me like you guys live for being upset by the team. As if you want it to happen just so you can be right.

You don't seem to get it. I was 8 years old the last time the Bengals won a playoff game. I've lived the majority of my life with the same bullshit from my favorite team for 26 years. The fact that I am still rooting for this hot mess shows I am a real fan. If the Bengals were making and winning playoffs here and there, I would get your point. If they lost in different ways, I would see your point. But they aren't. They do the same stupid shit time and time again.

Is this better than the 90's when they were lucky to win 6 games? Of course it is. Now, it's time to go to the next level. The team has shown it's fans that they can compete year in and year out, now they need to shift into the next gear and show the fans something else.

If you touch a hot stove and burn yourself, you learned something. If you touch a hot stove over and over and wonder why you are getting burned every time, you are a moron.

obviously any rational person would stop watching the Bengals having seen what we have seen over and over.

we did not give up, even when we knew what would happen to the extent that we could tell you what was happening as it happened. I'd call that being pretty persistent. again, I have basically proven that you are an idiot.

go away, this isn't your team. you never liked the Bengals. you're not a fan, you don't have what it takes to be a Bengal fan. you're just trolling here.

I support my team. You should try it.

Given the defeatist and negative attitude of your fans the entire game I thought it was a fitting end. It's what you all wanted to happen.

I'm not so sure a fan who claims teams from Alabama, Chicago and San Jose as his teams should be lecturing others on how to be a fan.

I'm not even sure what your point is supposed to be.

You might not want to chime in here

?

I root for all the local teams, only exception is the Red Sox and only because I grew up near DC at at time when there was no baseball team.

Not saying everyone has to root for all the local teams, and I get it some may not have a local team. But you got to admit San Jose, Alabama and Chicago appears to be an odd collection.

My mistake, I thought M was for the University of Minnesota

Let me get this straight..... Our pessimism and foul moods make this an unpleasant place to talk about the Bengals?

Don't we still have that sunshine and rainbows bengals board? Maybe we can point people there.....

How is any discussion about the Bengals pleasant? This shit has happened 5 straight years. How can any Bengals fans be happy about that? Not only are they not winning anything of significance, they're also drafting in the 20s every year and getting marginally better (if at all) and they've got a ton of UFAs that are major contributors and won't all be back. I'll be happy if they can retain Marvin Jones and Nelson. Beyond that, so long as they get a return specialist somewhere they can let the rest walk and upgrade the corners.

remember the game Scott Covington was our starting QB.

I remember listening to that in my car on lunch break while doing army reserve drill. knowing it's an absolutely hopeless situation and listening on my short break.

that was years ago.

then last night, even though I predicted every element of the game, that ben would come back, because he wasn't hurt that bad (just flopped for the penalty) that penalties would set up a last minute field goal, that we would fumble instead of running out the clock.

all predicted by me

all happened

I'm not a prophet. I'm not psychic. I'm just a guy who's watched a lot of Bengals football.

and just in case someone wants to break script, I keep watching. one day they will let us to the super bowl again. our basketball team is gone, or hockey team is gone. One of these days we may lose our football team, but for now it's still here in this small market. until that day I will still most likely watch (unless I'm playing ultimate frisbee on Sunday or something)
