I can't wait for the Hopspin article on how that number is "misleading" and that they have to "leave a pad" for the rookie pool, injuries, incentives, etc.

Can't forget the rookie free agents as well. That will basically drain the funds.

I look forward to this article every year. Only Hobs can turn 50 million dollars into an 'incentive and injury' pool.

I predict an article proclaiming how intrusive the NFL is getting in forcing a minimum salary cap and how it's "impossible" to spend that kind of money and how the "heroic" Mike Brown will be trying to save "our franchise" by not cooperating.
