Simmons has repeatedly said that he will never play for the Sixers again and only showed up when he realized he wasn't going to get paid. But the reason he's not "mentally ready" to play is because the Sixers are fining him? GTFOH!

On the other hand, if a change of scenery is what he needs, you just got a player who is an elite level ballhandler, passer and defender while eliminating and competition for shots between Tatum and Brown.

I think his free throw shooting can be fixed. As bad as his free throw shooting was in the playoffs, he was 61% for the season which, while not great, isn't a complete disaster and can be improved.

I mean, Lonzo Ball has gone from 45% his rookie year, to 42%, 57%, 78% and this year he's at 83% so far. He's also gone from 31% on 3's to 41% this year.

No question the sixers feel deep down the guy is lying. If they had any reason to susoect he had real mental issues there is no way they would be handling things this way. If Simmons is faking, which I think he is, what level of a piece of shit does it take to fake mental illness? All I know is Maxey with every passing game is giving the Sixers reason to end this debacle one way or another. The thing is Simmons is nearing territory where he may never be able to take the court again. He may be fine with that as long as he gets his contract. I continue to think if he had a real mental issue that this conflict is the last thing he would want, he would have just held out.

He’s saying that with his mental health he can’t lift weights or watch film. That’s absurd. No. You’re misinformed. Simmons has provided zero documentation that he is being treated. If he had that, the session with the team doctor doesn’t happen. You’re supporting a selfish bitch who is making a mockery of real mental health issues.
