My analogy was...

If you have 11 girlfriends and 2 of the ones you really dont respect leave you, you chop it up that they aren't right for you, so you kick them on the way out. But when one of your favorites leave and the other might be considering leaving...shouldn't you think more that it just might be you instead of trying to kick them to the curb? you should know that when those four are gone and out of your life, the other 7 will take off too.

Why would they do that? Dan Beebe doesn't say Aye, Yes or No without permission from Austin. Sounds like in this instance DeLoss is just admitting how the Big 12 really works.
