Clear intent to injure versus hard nosed football play???
Maybe so. Why hasn't the 300 pound OL for the Steelers been suspended? At least Beckhams was a similar weight class

Not sure what that has to do with this
OK. Didn't say it wasn't. Question was what does it have to do with this? That was brutal
So you're gonna go with the "He did it too" argument? Doesn't fly in my book.Maybe so. Why hasn't the 300 pound OL for the Steelers been suspended? At least Beckhams was a similar weight class

I agree Norman drew first blood so to speak, but not all transgressions are the same. Beckham's actions were completely inexcusable on that play. There was no Football reason at all for that play. Clearly just tried to hit the other player as payback. Doesn't even matter if his intention was to hit him in the head. When the intent was nothing other than use your head as a weapon to injure another player it doesn't matter where you make contact IMO.When I took OBs side yesterday, I had no idea that this was like his 3rd or 4rth offense for conduct on the field. I don't keep up with him. I watched the whole game. What he did was totally wrong , I get that. Contrary to what others say on this board, I watched Norman pick him up and slam him before anything had happened. So to me, the least innocent, innocent guy I have ever seen started this whole thing. As far as the helmet to helmet hit, I'm just not 100 percent sure he knew he was going to hit him in the head. Many of these helmet to helmet shots happen because a WR or RB lower the heads at just the right time for that to happen. Why would he do that intentionally? He is risking a major injury to himself.
I didn't condone what Beckham did at all. I just said Norman had a part in it as well. Earl made a comment - he really torched him, which I assumed was a shot at the original post. I simply said he actually did the first drive in which he dropped the pass. And then of course he caught the TD at the end. Yes, if Coughlin was pissed and cut him , I would be first in line to pick him up. Yes I would swap our whole WR corp for him. There has been much worse done. I'm not giving this guy a pass.
As far as ROdgers, yes I hate the SOB. If Romo did the same shit he did yesterday, the Romo haters would be in full force today. He does it all the time. He is an arrogant prick that never takes blame. With that being said, if he was cut today, yes I would be first in line to snag him because he is arguably the best Qb in the league- definitely better than Romo. Some of my hate for ARod comes from the fact I hate GB more than I do any team.
