I've never cared for whiskey sauce.
it's light on the whiskey taste and great on the complex spice flavor…if your on the website (bout the only place you will find this sauce) buy the 4 bottle deal…you'll want more after having it once.

i have tried a lot of sauces and this one takes the grand prize.

doing ribs latter today and i'll sauce em with this brand.

Just ordered the 3 pack. Didn't see the 4 bottle deal.

Ingredients Nutrition

Directions
  1. Heat oil over medium heat; add in onion and saute for about 3 minutes, then add in garlic and saute for 2 minutes.
  2. Add in chili powder, paprika, cayenne, salt and black pepper; stir for 1 minute.
  3. Add in all remaining ingredients; bring to a boil stirring with a wooden spoon to combine.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered stirring occasionally for 1 hour over low heat (do not cover the pot or the texture and flavor will be affected, if you have a splatter screen then use it to cover the pot).
  5. Cool to room temperature then cover and refrigerate for 24 hours or more before using.

Never heard of this stuff. I usually buy Stubbs.

I like Stubbs, Smoky Moe’s... and Rudy’s. I’m a big fan of Rudy’s. Just the right combo of seasoning and sweetness. I’ll put that stuff on anything.

Stubbs is really good.....I also like Sweet Baby Rays. Always willing to try new ones, you can never have enough BBQ sauces on hand.

Here's the original. Maybe order it and see if you like it. I think it tastes like shit, but my wife loves it and makes her own version.

Original White Sauce 1 - 16 oz. Bottle

Here's a recipe online that looks like it would be close.

Big Bob Gibson's White Sauce

I plan on making this stuff this weekend. But the recipe makes me think of Arby's Horsey sauce.

Arby's Horsey Sauce
  • Author: Stephanie Manley @CopyKat.com
  • Recipe Type: Sauce
  • Prep time: 2 minutes
  • Cook time: 3 minutes
  • Serves: 10
Arbys-Horsey-Sauce-from-CopyKat.com_-150x100.jpg

Make your own Arby's Horsey sauce with this copycat recipe.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup creamed horseradish or 2 tablespoons fresh horseraddish
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, sugar, creamed horseradish, and salt. Stir until well combined. For best flavor allow to rest in a covered container in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. For optimal results allow to rest overnight before serving.

Looks a good bit a like minus the lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. Probably a good bit thicker as a result. Never seen my wife get that at Arby's that I can remember, but we only eat there maybe once every 5 years.

I think that white sauce is nasty. So can't say nobody warned you.

Had this last night. Good sauce.

OK..this is weird.

I was just going through the pantry about five minutes ago to see if I needed to pick up anything at the store.

Saw a bottle of the sauce and wondered if you ever got your order from Amazon.

Anyone ever try this? Think I'm going to give it a try, has half the carbs my normal sauce.

Instead of tomato sauce I use 2 blended medium/large tomatoes, 1/2 onion, few garlic cloves with 1 small jalapeño. 2:1 ratio on the maters and japs

I like it sweet and spicy. Also throw in some honey and a little bit of Guinness, a few other spices

I'll have to find my recipe.. shits fire

I got original instead of hickory and it was good.
