I'm curious to see if Texas can slow Baylor down.
UCLA game might have Texas fans a bit overconfident in the defense after Hundley was injured.
I dont see how the defense holds them under 30. I can see them hanging early, but this is a different level of offense. Texas also lost their startign DT in the second half of UCLA and the difference was telling. Jackson wasnt All-American, but the DT spor was already thin. Strong had to burn a redshirt in the Kansas game.
Let's just put it this way when the game is over the Capital of Texas will be moving from Austin to Waco.
This is why I don't think it's going to be close. I could be WAY off, and Texas could play unbelievably well, but they're just too banged up and thin with the suspensions.
Best hope for the Horns is dial it up on defense. But if they play to create turnovers, like stripping the ball carrier, that could backfire and lead to missed tackles. You don't want to miss tackles with the Baylor RBs and WRs.
Strange things happen in conference games.
nothing is moving to Waco.
I said I could see it close for a half. I dont think Texas is deep enough on defense or competent enough on offense to hang with Baylor for 4Qs
-Serious question...what is the actual number of scholarship players that will be dressed for the game Saturday? I'm thinking it's a team on probation type number.

9 dismissed, 2 suspended, and 3 starters lost for the season due to injuries, so down 14 as of right now. There are couple more injured, but not sure about their status for the Baylor game yet
