Bay Area for 3 Rangers vs Giants

Diosbel Arias is hitting .380 after going 3 for 4 today. I have been following the Rangers minor league system for a long time and this is about as good of an average that I can remember one of our guys having. Billy Sample is the only one I can think of off the top of my head that hit that well over a complete season. Arias is in a short season league, but hitting that well over 200 AB is very rare. I am looking forward to seeing if they move him all the way to Down East next season.

I agree with you, but I wonder - without doing much research on our farms - if hanging onto some of these guys for another season isn't the way to go......Try em, yet again, unless we're holding someone back, and it doesn't seem that's the case.

Good point. They are likely to start some tandem starters or openers soon from what I heard

I know we want them but there only 40 spots on the roster and we may lose some unless we add them. Those are the tough choices. For example Scott H has not come up IMO because they would have to lose someone on the roster. When rule 5 comes someone will be left off and we hope we can keep on a minor league roster slot. Another guys needing a spot is J Hernandez
