Battlestar Galactica (1978 original series)

I am re watching the original series now on Netflix. I hadn't watched any if the eps in AT LEAST 30 years.

I am shocked at how good this show was. The acting is bad, sure, but all acting was bad in the late 70s. The FX were horrible, but again, late 70s. The stories were pretty damned good, though, and I was surprised at how close the reboot stayed to the original material.

Only 21 eps, plus anther 10 for the Earth portion (which I have not seen since original air, and expect to be painful).

35 years later, and I stll remember the name Maren Jensen as Athena. Made quite an impression on this young lad.......

memories of the original series was the reason it took some of my best friends 4 years to get me to watch the new series, which i ended up enjoying tremendously.

i was in elementary school when the original series came out, though, so maybe i'd like it now. i'll give it a try on a rainy day.
