So what does Odor have to do and for how long before you look to trade him?

To me he had very little trade value even going into this season. Another poor 3 or 4 months and he may not have any trade value at all. We run a very big risk of not being able to get even a low A prospect who projects to be a utility player for him if he falters much longer.

If he hits .350 between now and the break I would count that as a lucky blessing and trade him. If he doen't hit much between now and then I still look to trade him knowing I will have to pay part of his salary and not get much for him.

Odor needs to improve his defense and be more selective and recognize pitches. Get more walks so pitchers throw him more strikes learn how to hit late game and with two strikes. Better situational hitting with guys on base

A lot to consider with Beltre and maybe even Elvis as a moving part. I do not trade unless you get value in return. If he does not produce and he can't be traded well then he has options at winter ball and AAA to figure it out

If you go back to the final 7 or 8 weeks of 2016, when he hit .244 during that span, Odor has hit .212 over 801 AB. That is a very long slump. His ability to hit the long ball has kept him from looking even worse, but that same approach that has him hitting the long ball is also resulting in the rest of his offense suffering. If he was a really good second baseman then you might be able to overlook the horrendous average.

For better or worse I think we are about to find out even more about him. I expect him to be in the lineup just about every day after he comes back between then and when the new stadium opens at least.

Mets got a catcher who I was thinking was a trade partner for Robbie perhaps. Mets got more than I thought

And as many has stated he is an average 2nd baseman. But as always I hope he figures it out because if he did he could be a monster at 2B offensively and of course it would benefit the Rangers greatly. Just not sure he has what is between the ears to do that.

Gallo not getting it done with men on base. Needs to shorten swing in that situation

Yeah, I really do not like it when he comes to bat with a man on 3rd and less than 2 outs. At least not lately.

Grieve's favorite word - "blooper". It happens Tom. The problem was the lead off walk.

Rua with his pull the ball to left swing on a curve ball away. He has got to be willing to go the other way especially with 2 strikes.

Gotta swing at everything guys, Bill Miller was calling BS strikes before he took a foul tip, he's just trying to get out of there

I knew the extended zone was going to come after the shot to the groin. He was ready to leave.
