Before everyone gets too upset remember what most of us thought this season would be about. It is about finding out about players so we know what we have to do going forward. We are finding out about some guys and hopefully we will continue to do that. Some of that information will be used later this month when we will probably be sellers. Some we still don't know about yet, but we still have half of the year to find out. Others we are finding out about as they progress through our minor league system. There are going to be some disappointing performances along the way, but even that is good in that we are finding that out now and that helps tremendously in the decision making process.

They did limit him in this start it seems. Only 73 pitches and 5 innings. I would expect at some point that he will skip a start or two as well.

It looks like after a slow start in his first few days at AAA Joey Gallo is getting more comfortable. Over the last 4 games he is 5 for 14 with 2 doubles and a HR with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. He did play 3B tonight.
