I'd give him more starts. But he already said he will not accept a minor league assignment.

If he keeps getting these kind of results then I'd rather see Nick or Chi Chi, at this point he looks like a sunk cost, time to bring on the youth

Maybe I'll get to enjoy the Rockies beating the shit out of the Angels at Coors field tonight.

5 starts is about all I'd be willing to give him to figure it out, as someone said, he was struggling to get out minor league hitters... don't see him suddenly figuring out how to pitch with no velocity, maybe he should call Jamie Moyer

Exactly. Love ya Harry, but a mid 80's fastball ain't gonna get it done.

Harry's always been a pitch to contact guy, but when you throw a 91mph sinker, a 92 mph 2 seamer, and can dial your four seamer up to 95 you can get away with mistakes. He's not gonna fool you or me, let alone major league hitters throwing mid 80's.

Fielder is getting zilch to hit here. Nobody is afraid of Beltre right now.

I'd give him more starts. But he already said he will not accept a minor league assignment.

This whole experience might humble him. Nobody is going to be calling us to trade for him with that contract and a mid 80's FB.

You would have to release him if he doesn't accept.
