The MVP...
3-3 after the first period.
We're looking at a superbowl preview right here...lol

Almost like watching two 8 year olds slap the hell out of each other
I have identified the Senators problem.
The guy with the most fire, the most anger, the biggest willingness to mix it up, and the most toughness... is their rookie Swedish goalie.
Jumps in and pulls Andy Mac off the Michalek/Tavares cat fight and then puts the Isles goalie on his ass on the way off the ice.
I like this kid.
Yeah, it's good to see someone on this team with that kind of fire in him...
He even swore in English following the loss to Russia in the WJHC semi.
Yep and he got criticized heavily for it. I thought it was refreshing though because players are too much like robots in any kind of interview.
Yeah he got criticized by know it all ex goaltenders like Glenn Healy. Said something like it was a sign he was coming unglued. LOL are you serious?
Holy hell. Ottawa is now as bad as the Islanders.
Yep, they've been the worst team in the league the last month BY FAR and it's not even close.
At this point tanking appears to be the number one goal.
Well why not. Worked for the Penguins all those years ago, go into a tailspin of incompetence and hit the jackpot. Tampa Bay being a more recent example.
True but it's painful going through that stretch of futility. It's pretty hard to watch games right now when you know they're probably going to lose.
But you're probably wishing the Leafs took that approach though...short term pain, long term gain.
Indeed but the difference in my teams case is the superiority complex in that we "have to be a winner at all costs". Giving the green light for guys like Burke to make the Kessel deal.
I'll take the win any time. I don't want my team to finish dead last. There really isn't a superstar in this upcoming draft. Some might say Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has the potential but I'm just not sold at this point.
My team stinks, but at least they play hard. Two rookies in Wishart & Hamonic with 2 assists each. A Rob Schremp sighting. I was beginning to think he went AWOL.
Yeah, at least your team plays hard.
My team? I think they were sleepwalking through that game. The only one who showed some fire was Lehner which is pretty sad. He's a 19 year old kid and he's trying to send a message to the rest of the team to get their heads out of their asses. Pretty sad times in Ottawa.
I think Landeskog will be a stud btw. I'm not sold on RNH definitely being a star but he has the most potential for sure.
