Barnett's Last season on TV

Who's going to replace him?

1) Tim Roye
2) Tolbert?
3) Saint Jean
4) Rick Barry


My money's probably on a group of fillers rather than one person, but with a gun to my head, I would probably say Tolbert after this year.

I think Roye would want to do play by play, so probably not him. Seems Barry is too prickly for a full time gig and he and Fitz together are 2 big egos that would probably clash. Saint Jean is horrible, I really hope it's not him. So yeah, Tolbert I could see and he wouldn't be bad. Just wish they could get Fitz out but if it hasn't happened by now, it's probably unlikely. I would love to get Papa back but same as Roye, he'd probably want to do play by play.

The role of Barnett will definitely go to an ex-player or someone who can dissect plays and has an intimate knowledge of the game. I'd say Tolbert is likely a front runner because of those characteristics. There's no point in having two play by play men, with Fitz already still being there.
